Set up in 2006, Geiger Records is run by editors of Geiger Magazine.
Geiger is a music magazine, an internet magazine in Danish and English, a record label and concert organizer. Since 1999 we have published a printed magazine in Danish. The magazine is published two to three times yearly. It is free of charge and distributed to various shops and venues across Scandinavia.
Geiger specialises in the more leftfield and adventurous side of music - following the new trends and the history behind them.
We have organised concerts with Acid Mothers Temple, Lydia Lunch, Scanner, Sieben, Simon Finn, Pita, Max Richter, Billy Childish, Efterklang, AGF, Asmus Tietchens, Thomas Köner, Philip Jeck, Janek Schaeffer and many others. Once a year we co-organize the Lyd+Litteratur-festival - a festival focusing on literature, music and soundart - and Fanø Free Folk Festival and work closely together with other festivals like the SPOT and RECession festivals.
Most of our releases are published in the Sound+Literature-series featuring authors and musicians working together.
